New construction and renovation services

Measure once, cut twice
— A smart carpenter

Lucky you...you are building a new home or renovating an existing one to suit your personalized lifestyle.

But, with all of the excitement, there are thousands of decisions to be made and suddenly the glow of your new project turns to fear and overwhelm.

Imagine  a construction site or a PUH  (previously ugly house), being transformed into your dream home.

Spaces that flow together and make sense, beautiful finishes which flow together seamlessly, windows that actually look onto something beautiful, lighting that accents your home, details that shine from hinges to artwork, a home that you actually look forward to coming home to. You think to yourself, this is my forever house, how could I imagine living anywhere else?

But, right now...

you are looking at rolls of drawings that you are not sure you understand and samples which really don't seem like your vision.  You have all of your inspiration photos and Pinterest boards at the ready but your eyes are glazing over...how to get from inspiration to reality?

You've probably tried...

Going it on your own and getting snip-its of advice from various sources, talking to your contractor, or good ole (expensive) trial and error.  That is not getting the job done.  This doesn't work because you aren't relying on a professional designer who knows the ropes.

You need someone who sees the big picture and can orchestrate all of the moving pieces into a beautiful cohesive home.

Many of the decisions you make will actually impact your design decisions for years to come. For example, the undertones in the wood floors or stone counters can determine the color palettes that you choose not only today but going forward, for as long as those hard to change finishes are present.

I know how this works...

Aside from my 30 years of experience in this field, I have personally renovated houses and lived to tell the tale and sell them profitably. Believe me you are just at the beginning of the process and the sooner you have a design intervention the better and most cost effective.

It gets very expensive to undo/redo once construction begins.

Let me help you navigate the process.  It will make the "after" so much sweeter!  If you think this could be your ace in the hole, fill out the form below and let's see if we're a fit!

I think we should make the best of where we live and we all should be able to come back home to a place that is welcoming and represents who we are.
