Beautiful rooms that still don't feel right. You've had enough of those.
Architecturally rooted, principal-led design for homeowners who are done settling. Select projects nationwide.
A complimentary conversation to see if we're a fit. Nothing more.
The right design eventually.
The right questions first.
You already know what you want it to feel like.
You just haven't found someone who could get you there.
You've done this before. You've hired the designer, approved the fabrics, waited out the lead times. The room was finished. It photographed beautifully. And something was still off, in a way you couldn't name but noticed every time you walked past it.
So now you're careful. You should be. Another round of guessing costs more than money. It costs months of your attention, another install day that ends in polite disappointment, and one more room you quietly avoid.
The problem was never your taste.
Good taste recognizes. Design creates.
Anyone can curate what already exists. But fine and beautiful aren't the same as right. Right means the proportions work without you knowing why. Right means the room functions the way your life actually functions. Right means you walk in after a hard week and something in your shoulders releases.
That's not taste. That's design. And it starts with thinking, not shopping.
Real design starts before anything is purchased, sourced, or selected. It starts with how a room is oriented, how light moves through it, how your home works at 7am and again when there are twelve people in it on a Saturday night. That thinking is the part you never see. It's also the part that decides whether the finished room feels inevitable or assembled.
““Good taste is recognizing what’s beautiful. Design is creating something that didn’t exist before.””
Design That’s About More Than Just Looks
You won't be handed off to junior staff. You won't be shown 47 fabric options and asked to choose. You won't be managing a process you hired someone else to lead. What you will get is a designer who walks into your space and sees what it should become before a single decision is made.
Every project is personally led by me, from the first conversation to the final reveal.
Three ways to work together. One standard of thinking.
Every engagement starts the same way: understanding the life that happens in your home. Whether you want every detail handled on your behalf, a professionally developed design plan you execute yourself, or focused expert guidance on a specific challenge — the depth of thinking and experience behind each service is the same. What changes is the level of involvement. What never changes is the quality of the work or who is leading it.

Designing dream homes -
with hard hats and heels
Somewhere in the middle of every renovation, something goes sideways. A beam where the plans said there wouldn't be one. A window that can't move after all. The moment where most projects start bleeding money and most designers start deferring to the contractor.
That moment never lands on your desk. It lands on mine, and I know what to do with it.
I trained in interior architecture, not decoration. I spent years in commercial architecture firms before founding this studio in 2004 — construction documents, job sites, the details most designers miss because they've never worn the hard hat. I'm NCIDQ certified, and I spent six years writing the questions for that exam. Which means when your contractor asks a technical question, I answer it. When something shifts mid-construction, I catch it before it becomes expensive.
You work directly with the expert. That's not a promise. It's just how I work.

Let's talk about what your home actually needs.
Whether you're building from the ground up, reimagining a home you've just purchased, or finally fixing the spaces that have never felt right — this is where that changes.
Not with more options or more mood boards. With a clear process, real expertise, and someone who leads from the first conversation to the last detail.
The first step is a complimentary discovery call. A short conversation about your project, your timeline, and whether we're the right fit for each other. If we are, I'll tell you exactly what happens next. If we're not, I'll tell you that too.
Fix the finishing elements that make the biggest visual impact: rugs, drapery, artwork, scale, lighting, accessories, and furniture layout.
