Fairfield County homes have always demanded more than surface design. So have I.

Fairfield County is not a generic luxury market. Its homes have architectural character — classic colonials, coastal properties, mid-century residences, and sophisticated new construction — and its homeowners have discerning taste built from decades of exposure to exceptional design. They know the difference between something that looks expensive and something that actually works.

I've been designing homes in Fairfield County for more than thirty years. I understand its architectural range, its builders, its light, and the specific way its families live — across seasons, across generations, and across the full complexity of what a high-functioning home actually requires.

What thirty years in this market actually means for your project.

It means I've worked alongside the architects and builders you're likely already talking to. It means I've seen what goes wrong when design decisions get made too late and what happens when they're made right. It means I know the difference between a New Canaan new build and a Westport colonial — and I design for both with the same depth of thinking and technical fluency.

Every project is personally led by me. No handoffs. No junior staff running your project while I run someone else's. You work directly with the expertise you're paying for, from the first conversation to the final reveal.

Three ways to work together.

Whether you need focused expert guidance on a specific decision, a complete design plan to execute on your own timeline, or a fully managed experience from concept to installation — there's a clear path forward for where you are right now.

Thirty years designing Fairfield County homes. Still principal-led. Still hands-on.

This is the market where I built my practice. The homes here — colonials, coastal properties, renovations, new builds — shaped how I think about interior architecture and what it means to design for the way a family actually lives over time, not just the way a home photographs at the moment of completion.

My work has been featured in Fairfield County publications and recognized within the design community here.

But what matters more than recognition is the client who walks into her finished home and feels exactly what she hoped it would feel like. That's the standard I've held for thirty years in this market. It doesn't change.

Frequently Asked Questions About Designing Homes in Fairfield County, CT

Do you work throughout Fairfield County?

Yes — the studio is based here, and most of my Connecticut work is in New Canaan, Greenwich, Darien, Westport, Fairfield, and Wilton, with projects into surrounding communities. If you're within an hour of the studio, site visits are routine, not an event.

Do you take on renovations as well as furnishing projects?

Renovations are the sweet spot — Fairfield County's housing stock is full of good bones wearing dated layouts, and reworking those is exactly what interior architecture training is for. But furnishing a newly purchased home, finishing a renovation someone else built, and whole-home furnishing projects are all in range. If your house was right for the family who built it in 1987 and isn't right for yours, that's the project I want to see.

How is working with a local designer different from a national firm?

You get the principal, in your house, repeatedly. I know the local contractors, workrooms, and inspectors; I've stood in this county's housing stock for decades. And there's no project manager between us — the person who measured your rooms is the person answering your contractor.

Do you work with architects and builders in Fairfield County?

Yes — closely, throughout Westport, New Canaan, Darien, Greenwich, and Fairfield. After thirty years in this market, I've worked alongside many of the architects and builders you're likely already talking to. My documentation is built so their trades can work from it directly — which is most of what keeps a project off the rocks

Are you familiar with Fairfield County’s architecture?

Yes — classic colonials, coastal properties, mid-century residences, and modern new builds. Each asks different questions, and the interior architecture should answer the house it's in, not fight it. A Westport coastal property and a New Canaan colonial deserve different thinking. They get it.

When should I bring you in on a renovation or new build?

Before the plans are final — that's when space planning, millwork, lighting and electrical locations, and layout decisions are still cheap to change. Early involvement means informed decisions and fewer changes later; late involvement means decorating around choices someone else made by default. Ideal: before permit drawings. Acceptable: before trades mobilize.

What size projects do you take on?

Full-home renovations, new construction, whole-home furnishing, and multi-room transformations. Full-service projects begin at three rooms; whole homes are where the work does its best — the larger the scope, the more cohesion I can build across it. Because the practice is principal-led and hands-on, I take a limited number of full-service projects each year. Visit our Tutto Full Service Page Here

Do you offer full-service design in Fairfield County?

Yes — Tutto: concept development, detailed drawings, selections, builder coordination, procurement, and installation, every phase led directly by me. For focused questions rather than full engagements, consultations and design intensives are also available.

Do you travel throughout Fairfield County for on-site work?

Yes. I serve clients in Westport, Fairfield, Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Wilton, and nearby communities, providing in-person design support as needed for your project.

Can you assist with furnishing and styling as well as renovations?

Yes. Whether furnishing a newly purchased home, finishing a renovation, or designing a complete home transformation, I create cohesive, curated interiors tailored to the way you live.
